This new feature, available in version 23.24.73 of the iOS application, enables users to share files in a more detailed manner, serving both personal and professional purposes.
To use this function, users need to access the “Documents” option in the attachment icon during a conversation. This option, typically used for sending PDFs, for example, now allows the selection of photos and videos from the phone’s gallery. This feature had already been implemented for Android users.
According to information from WABetaInfo, after the release, the distribution process may take a few weeks to reach all users.
